We all start thinking about how much time we waste searching online and how amazing would be to build a smart and pleasant exploration tool for digital environements. The workgroup is born.
In Febrary Marta got the scholarship. She starts her research project in September.
First year of the PhD research project. This feels like climping the f*king Everest. With the guidance of thesis supervisors Toni Sant and Giuliana Mazzoni, the research project starts taking some shape though. There is also a methodology epiphany thanks to professor Sandra Harding.
The data gathering process starts in January 2016. So we build this website and start making noise in social media platforms. This is a participative research, and therefore we need participants.
In May Josep got the scholarship. He starts the MBA in September. We feel really grateful with the city of Hull <3
Four different studies will be undertaken during 2016. The plan is, first, to survive, and then, to have the first digital prototype of the app ready before summer. May the force be with us.
The app will blossom together with the city of Hull. Marta will be focused on writing a full draft transcript of the thesis dissertation incorporating the results from the last user evaluation of the app to complete the analysis, as well as proofreading and preparation for the defence. Meanwhile, the app will remain open and the project will start a new chapter in the exploration journey.
A workgroup build in order to assist in the development of the app will assist the study during all the stages of the research project.
